Care Pack Program
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul was formed out of dedication to challenge poverty and help those in need. Vincentians are challenged to help everyone regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or creed, and to express their faith and grow spiritually through acts of charity.
Through our Care Pack program, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul provides a message of hope and care to those who find themselves homeless. The Care Pack program is an ongoing service that aims to help vulnerable populations in the San Fernando Valley. Our care packs are carefully filled with personal care items for men, women, and children such as toothbrush, toothpaste, and socks are delivered to local shelters in the San Fernando Valley where they are distributed to individuals in need. All items are new and carefully chosen to address fundamental needs for personal care, as well as a comfort item or two.
A typical Care Pack includes:
The contents of our Care Packs vary based on the items we have available to us. However, each pack is filled with similar items. Personal care items such as soap and shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, mouthwash, nail clippers, and a new pair of socks

We use these bags to pack items. This way, the items can be kept and re-used.
