![]() The Boy Scouts of America is the nation’s foremost youth program of development and values-based leadership training. Scouting offers young men responsible fun and adventure, teaches lifetime skills and values, develops in them character as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law, and trains them in citizenship, service, and leadership.
Our goal is to help parents to help their sons to be good citizens who are physically, mentally, and emotionally fit; who are self-reliant with initiative, courage, and resourcefulness, with faith-based personal values, the desire and skills to help others, an appreciation and love of the outdoors and an enthusiasm to have fun, lead, learn, and to work together.
Boy Scouts Troop 54 welcomes all boys in the 6th grade and above. We camp, hike, provide community service and explore new challenges through a program that provides opportunities for personal advancement and achievement. We currently have 34 boys actively involved in the program. Founded in 1940, Troop 54 has served hundreds of young men over the years, 78 of whom have become Eagle Scouts, achieving the highest rank in Boy Scouts.
Troop 54 meets every Monday night at 7:00 pm at Harter Hall – 21338 Dumetz Rd. (corner of Dumetz and Canoga) in Woodland Hills. Check us out at www.troop54.com
